Pintollism & SEEK

Pintollism and the book SEEK emerge from the same philosophy: that meaning is often revealed through patience, attention, and intention rather than immediacy.

The fingerprint artworks invite viewers to look closer—layer by layer, mark by mark—allowing imagery to surface gradually through accumulation. Nothing is revealed all at once. Understanding arrives through presence.

SEEK extends this way of seeing beyond the artwork itself.

Rather than explaining the work, the book prepares the reader to engage with it. It introduces a slower rhythm—one that values observation over conclusion and discovery over instruction.

SEEK is a visual and reflective book designed to slow the reader down, inviting observation, introspection, and personal discovery through imagery and carefully placed words.

Together, the artwork and the book offer two expressions of the same practice—one experienced on the wall, the other held in the hands.

About SEEK

SEEK is a children’s book told through fingerprint characters—each one distinct, each one searching.

As the story unfolds, individual fingerprints begin to appear and gather, forming larger and larger groups. Every character seeks Jesus for their own reasons, carrying different questions, needs, and hopes. Through their shared journey, the story grows in both scale and meaning.

The illustrations are designed to reward close attention. With each turn of the page, more fingerprints are added, inviting young readers to notice patterns, relationships, and change over time. What begins simply becomes something deeper through accumulation.

SEEK is meant to be read more than once. Children often return to it to follow the characters, discover new details, and engage with the imagery in fresh ways. Adults may find that the message opens further through rereading and shared conversation.

At its heart, SEEK is a story about individuality, community, and the idea that every search matters—that each unique mark contributes to something greater.
